We’re delighted our daughter, Kwan, and her husband, Kai, are now in their home village to re-start a Christian church.  Kai has been called to pastor the church and they are very excited about this ministry opportunity and ask for our prayers. Please pray for them in this endeavor.

The village is a typical A’kha tribe village with thatched roofs, little electricity, no running water, and dire poverty.  Most of the young adults leave the villages to pursue work in the larger cities of Thailand; those that remain, have a very difficult agricultural life.  Kwan and Kai are raising chickens to sell to supplement their income and are living with Kai’s family until they can save enough to build a small house.
